Hello Hurricanes,

Please check out the attached event line-up for the upcoming 6/12 meet to see what events your swimmer is signed up for. (It is still in no logical order so you will have to hunt for your swimmer's name, but Swimmingly tells me they are working on updating this report so we can alphabetize it!! :/ )  Reach out to me or the coaches ASAP if you have any conflicts or concerns.

The meet with be at Stonegate, 10412 Stonegate Pkwy, Parker, CO, United States — Directions.  From the hosts re: parking: Please park on the pool side of Stonegate Pkwy. You will get ticketed by Douglas County if you park on the other side- we will have cones out to show which side to avoid. Additional parking can be on Keystone and Quarry Hill Drive.

Our big purple tents will be set up outside of the pool fence in the large park on the northeast side of the pool.  There is a second pool at Stonegate with a diving board and slide that is open to their residents but is off limits to swim meet participants.  Please obey the flagged off areas.

Please check in with Emily and/or Alli when you arrive (please text or call 303-945-1484 or 303-908-8077 if you are running late so we don't scratch your swimmer!).  Reminder - we will have sharpies to help "mark-up" your swimmers.  Their 3-digit swimmer number will be the same as last week and needs to be large and legible on their back shoulder and upper arm (re-apply if it smudges too much to read!).  In addition, you can make a grid on their arm showing the Event number, Heat, and Lane for each of their races.  We will have printouts of the event line-up and you can find their events in the Swimmingly Fan app.  Coaches and Big Fish will also be available to help with this.  (Mark-up can happen after warm-up!!)

We will operate off of this time frame:  

• Arrive by 6:45 a.m.
• Warm-up is 7:00-7:15 a.m.
• Timer/Stroke Judge meeting (all shifts) at 7:30 a.m. (Note - Timers are advised to NOT use an Android 11 device due to incompatibility with Swimmingly.  The Swimmingly guide and videos are linked at the bottom of this email if you need to brush up on the technology you will be using)
• Heating for relays begins at 7:50 a.m.
• Meet begins at 8:00 a.m.
• As mentioned in an earlier email, this will be a long meet because we have three teams participating (maybe as late as 2:00 but fingers crossed it doesn't go that long!).  Bring lots of water and sun screen, cash for snacks, and non-electronic activities for between races like cards or other games.

We still have two volunteer heating spots open for the 12:00-2:00 shift.  Especially if you have not yet signed up for three slots, please hop onto Swimtopia, click on Meets & Events, then sign up today!  Or you can email me and I'll add your name!  I have attached the list of all volunteers for this meet.

The theme of our meet is RAINBOW!  Let's show our team pride and colors!!
