    13-18 Prelims results and 7/9 meet results

    WOW!  Our 13-18 swimmers kicked off Prelim/Finals week with a BANG!!!  We had swimmers qualify to swim at Finals this Saturday in 32 events and 6 relays!!  And on top of that, we had 6 team records broken!  Way to go, Big Kids!  See below for all the details, and read to the bottom for a broken record from our last home meet on 7/9 against Bow Mar.  Thanks again to all of our volunteers - it was such a fast meet!!  Send fast vibes to our Little Hurricanes who swim their Prelim tomorrow!! Go get 'em!

    13-18 Finals Qualifiers

    • 15-18 Boys Medley Relay qualified 3rd (Max Eggleston, William Robertson, Dylan Nelson, John Paul Robertson)
    • 15-18 Girls Medley Relay qualified 6th (Lauren Simasko, Tierney Kohl, Rachel Krauss, Rachel Densmore)
    • 13-14 Boys Medley Relay qualified 1st (Syd Smith, Colin Kohl, Nolan Kohl, Hector Mendoza-Stancer) AND they broke the team record, with a time of 2:09.70, beating their own record set earlier this summer!!
    • 13-14 Boys 200 Freestyle: Syd Smith qualified 3rd
    • 15-18 Girls 200 Freestyle: Rachel Krauss qualified 10th
    • 13-14 Boys 50 Freestyle: Hector Mendoza-Stancer qualified 9th
    • 13-14 Girls 50 Freestyle: Baylee Marshall qualified 14th
    • 15-18 Boys 50 Freestyle: Dylan Nelson qualified 6th and John Paul Robertson qualified 7th
    • 15-18 Girls 50 Freestyle: Lauren Simasko qualified 8th
    • 13-14 Boys 100 Butterfly: Colin Kohl qualified 5th
    • 15-18 Girls 100 Butterfly: Rachel Krauss qualified 10th
    • 13-14 Boys 100 Backstroke: Nolan Kohl qualified 1st and Syd Smith qualified 8th
    • 15-18 Boys 100 Backstroke: Max Eggleston qualified 11th
    • 15-18 Girls 100 Backstroke: Tierney Kohl qualified 3rd AND broke the team record with a time of 1:11.63, breaking her own record set earlier this summer (1:12.30), Rachel Krauss qualified 7th
    • 13-14 Boys 100 Breaststroke: Colin Kohl qualified 4th, Hector Mendoza-Stancer qualified 12th
    • 13-14 Girls 100 Breaststroke: Baylee Marshall qualified 4th
    • 15-18 Boys 100 Breaststroke: Dylan Nelson qualfied 1st AND broke the team record with a time of 1:12.65, which he set earlier this summer (1:13.72), John Paul Robertson qualified 4th, Max Eggleston qualified 8th, and William Robertson qualified 11th
    • 15-18 Girls 100 Breaststroke: Tierney Kohl qualified 2nd 
    • 13-14 Boys 100 Freestyle: Nolan Kohl qualified 1st and Hector Mendoza-Stancer qualified 11th
    • 13-14 Girls 100 Freestyle: Baylee Marshall qualified 16th
    • 15-18 Boys 100 Freestyle: Dylan Nelson qualified 3rd and John Paul Robertson qualified 8th
    • 15-18 Girls 100 Freestyle: Lauren Simasko qualified 13th
    • 13-14 Boys 200 Individual Medley: Nolan Kohl qualified 1st AND broke a team record with a time of 2:23.65, previously set by Ronan Krauss in 2019 (2:25.79), Colin Kohl qualified 6th, Syd Smith qualified 8th
    • 15-18 Boys 200 Individual Medley: Max Eggleston qualified 10th
    • 15-18 Girls 200 Individual Medley: Tierney Kohl qualified 3rd AND broke a team record with a time of 2:35.94, a record she set earlier this summer (2:35.68)
    • 13-14 Boys 200 Free Relay qualified 1st (Syd Smith, Hector Mendoza-Stancer, Colin Kohl, Nolan Kohl)
    • 15-18 Boys 200 Free Relay qualified 3rd (Max Eggleston, William Robertson, John Paul Robertson, Dylan Nelson)
    • 15-18 Girls 200 Free Relay qualified 6th AND broke a team record with a time of 2:05.76, previously held by Lauren Simasko, Tierney Kohl, Rachel Nelson and Bella Robertson (2:07.60, 2021)
