Details for our 6/24 away meet at South Park:

Please read this entire email as there are important details about Saturday's meet throughout!

Events - Check out the attached Swimmer LineUp to see what events your swimmer is in. We will also have some paper copies on Saturday to help with swimmer mark-up. There may be some adjustments to heats/lanes so check again Saturday morning. 

Volunteer shifts - please see attached list and check in with Alli when you arrive to get your name badge.  

Location - This is an away meet at South Park Pool, 2801 West Long Drive, Littleton, CO 80120.  Directions can be found here.  Please plan to arrive at 7:00 a.m. prior to our 7:15 warm-up.  Check in with Alli or Emily when you arrive. (text us if you will be late so we don't scratch your swimmer!)

• When you arrive, look for our team tent in the designated green space on the north side of the tennis courts. There is an entrance to the pool in close proximity to where our tents will be that leads right into the heating area! 

1. In order for our Heating to run smoothly and efficiently, ONLY swimmers are allowed in Heating and behind the starting blocks (no parents - if you are concerned about your swimmer needing some guidance, please talk to a coach!)
2. In an effort to keep our community pool furniture in the best condition, no sharpie may be used on any swimmers backs.  Thank you for helping us to keep our pool furniture in the best possible condition!

Concessions: They will have plenty of breakfast and lunch fare, including burritos, burgers, hot dogs, fruit, sweets, treats, and beverages. Cash purchase only. 

Schedule: 

• 7:00 a.m.: Swimmers check in with Alli Pineda (please text Alli or Emily at the numbers below if you are running late! If we don't hear from you and you haven't checked in, your swimmer will be scratched from all events)
• 7:00-7:15: Swimmer mark-up (Event, Heat, Lane in sharpie, HTS and swimmer number on back of left shoulder)
• 7:15-7:45 - Hurricanes warm-up
• 7:30 am - Stroke Judge and Starter/Ref meeting at starter/ref post - EVERY STROKE JUDGE MUST ATTEND 
• 7:40 am - Timer meeting with starter/ref at starter/ref post - ALL TIMERS MUST ATTEND 
• 7:50 am - Welcome, team cheer, and start heating through Event 12 
• 7:55 am - National Anthem 
• 8:00 am - First event begins!

Theme

The South Park Team has invited us to participate in their theme this week which is Outer Space!  Let's show them how Out of This World we are!!!
