Hello Hurricanes,

Our Final dual meet is coming up this Saturday, July 8th at our HOME POOL! This is a long email with lots of info - thanks for reading all the way to the end! (Be on the lookout for age-group emails with Prelims/Finals details in the next day or two!!)

1. Please check out the attachments to see what events your kiddo is signed up to swim. The Swimmer Lineup is alpha by swimmer and the Heat Sheet is in event order to give you an idea of what time each race is estimated to start. Please be aware that the Heats and Lanes may change so check again on Saturday morning. This info will be published to the Swimtopia App as well. Reach out to me or the coaches ASAP if you have any conflicts or concerns.

2. Please review the attachment showing the July 8th Volunteers who have committed to help out this week. Please check it to review your job. Thanks, volunteers :) If you are a volunteer this weekend, please sign in with Alli Pineda when you arrive to pick up your name tag. ***This is how we track volunteer requirements, so if you want credit for your shift, please, please, PLEASE remember to check in.***

4. All swimmers should check in with Emily and/or Alli when you arrive (please text or call 303-945-1484 or 303-908-8077 if you are running late so we don't scratch your swimmer!). Reminder - we will have sharpies to help "mark-up" your swimmers. You can make a grid on their arm showing the Event number, Heat, and Lane for each of their races (older swimmers will be available to help with this too!)

5. The theme of our meet is Wild Wild West!  Let's show our team pride!! Also, please wear your new team caps! See Alli if you weren't at Pictures on Tuesday and didn't get one.

6. We will work off of this timeframe:

• Arrive by 6:45 a.m.
• 6:45 a.m. - 7:15 a.m. Hampden Heights swimmers warm up (this may be optional if it is chilly, especially for the little ones!!)
• 7:15 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. visiting swimmers warm up
• 7:40 a.m. - 1st and 2nd shift Stroke Judges and Timers meet behind the blocks with the Starter Ref to review roles expectations.
• 7:45 - Team Cheer in the Team Tent
• 7:50 - Events 1-4 get ready to swim and gather behind the blocks for the first relays. All relays 5-12 go to heating in the Baby Pool area.
• 7:55 National Anthem
• 8:00 Meet Begins!!
