What a fantastic first meet of the 2025 Swim Season.  Thank you to all of the coaches, parents, and volunteers that made the day a success. A big shout out to our swimmers for swimming hard and having fun throughout the meet.

The June 7th meet is a home meet. REMINDER: You must go onto our website to declare your swimmer as participating or not participating in this meet by noon on Wednesday, June 4th. If nothing is entered, it will be assumed that your swimmer is NOT participating and they will not be entered into any events. See below for step by step directions on how to enter meet declarations.

1. Go to the team website - hampdenheights.swimtopia.com, click on the Meet and then "Meet Entry". Click on the yellow "Edit" button and mark each swimmer "Attending" or "Not attending".

2. Once you select "Attending", you will see the events for which your swimmer is eligible. You CAN select up to 3 events - this is an opportunity to make a request if there is a specific race(s) that you want your swimmer to participate in; however, coaches have the final say in which events each swimmer does. If you do not know or care which races your swimmer should participate, you can leave this screen blank and coaches will select the appropriate events. Don't forget to hit save at the bottom.

3. You will see a dropdown menu about relays. There are relays at the beginning and end of the meet. You have the ability to let coaches know if your swimmer is or is not available for both the early and late relays. Remember - swim meets are long and those late relays will not happen until at least 11:30-12:30. Please opt out if you cannot commit to staying until the end.

4. Click save and you are all set! THIS MUST BE COMPLETE BY NOON ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4th. Undeclared swimmers will not be placed into any events for the June 7th meet.

Please plan to arrive by 6:40 a.m. prior to our 6:45 warm-up. Volunteer name tags can be picked up as you enter the pool at the guard shack. Sadie will be right by the entrance of the pool by 6:30 to check swimmers in when they arrive.  Please text Sadie if you will be running late or are unable to make the meet. 7:15 - 7:45 Visiting swimmers warm up

7:30 Scratch meeting - at the building by the main entrance.

7:40 Stroke Judges and Timers from 1st and 2nd shifts meet near the starter umbrella with our Starter Ref.

7:45 Parents and coaches start to round up swimmers for the relays and send them to heating in the fenced in baby pool area. Please get the 6&Us directly behind the blocks for Events 1 and 2.
