Dear HHST Families,

  We look forward to seeing you all at tomorrow's Forest Park swim meet.  Here are a few final reminders that you may find helpful.

Reminder: Warm up will begin at 7:15 a.m. so please try to arrive by 7:00 a.m. to get checked in, settled, and goggle/cap up your swimmer. Look for our purple team tent. When you arrive, please check in with Sadie Levine so we can mark your swimmer present. If you are running late, you can text Sadie Levine at 303-503-1116. If we don't hear from you, your swimmer may be scratched from their events, and we don't want that to happen! Also, volunteers need to check in with a parent rep to pick up their Volunteer Name Tag with your shift details (volunteer list attached). This is how we track volunteer shifts!

After Warm-up, we need parents' help to "Mark Up" swimmers. We will have printouts of the swimmer lineup (also attached) and sharpie markers to assist with Mark Up. PLEASE REMIND YOUR KIDDO NOT TO WRITE ON THEMSELVES WITH THE SHARPIES, OTHER THAN THEIR MARK-UP GRID (i.e. NO "EAT MY BUBBLES" ON BACKS). Swimmers in events #1-10 will head to the Heating Area at about 7:45 a.m., followed by the National Anthem and the start of the meet at 8:00 a.m. Reminder - NO parents will be allowed in the Heating Area.

Finally, remember that all shifts of stroke judges and timers will need to be present for a pre-meet meeting with the Starter so please be ready by 7:30, even if you don't work until later, and listen for announcements.

Let any Parent Rep or Coach know if you have questions - before or during the meet! Our fun theme is Disney-Fantasy-Princess. Dress in the theme and/or wear your purple, pack your pride and patience, and just keep swimming!!!

Dad’s Relay: After Event #45 (during the shift change) Forest Park will host a Dad’s Relay to celebrate Father’s Day weekend. This is an anything goes relay, so swim your best stroke. Right now, we have one relay: Brett Gombar, Kennon Heard, Nick Sheremete, and Coach Aaron. If you would still like to participate in a relay, text Coach Aaron, and he will work on it.  408-394-9664

Important information for our meet with Forest Park:

• The pool is located at 7650 S. Fillmore Way, Centennial, 80122
• There is general street parking. Please drive slowly in the neighborhood, do not block driveways, and watch for pedestrians!
• HHST can set up tents in the big grassy area north of the pool, behind heating (see attached map). There is no seating/tents allowed on the pool deck.
• Access the pool from the south main entrance, or by the tennis court.
• Forest Park accepts either Cash or Venmo at our Concession Stand. They will also have Kona Ice available during the meet, in the parking lot.
• Schedule:
  • 7:15-7:45 – Hampden Heights Warm-Up
  • 7:20 – Scratch Meeting at green awning/starter tent
  • 7:35 – Stroke and Turn Judge Meeting at green awning/starter tent (all shifts should attend)
  • 7:45 – Timer Meeting at green awning/starter tent (all shifts should attend)
  • 7:50 – Begin heating for relays
  • 7:55 – National Anthem
  • 8:00 – Meet begins!
