The Heritage Village Sea Lions welcomes HHST to a dual meet on Saturday,

May 30th!

Here’s some information from the hosting team and general reminders that will allow for a smooth meet:

Directions: Address: 6172 S Glencoe Way, Centennial, CO 80121

From Arapahoe and Holly, drive north until you almost crest the hill. East Fair Avenue will be on your left.

From Orchard and Holly, drive south past Koebel Public Library. East Fair Avenue will be the first street on your right.

At the stop sign, one block in, you will see the pool to your right.

Parking: There is extremely limited space in the parking lot.  When parking on the neighborhood streets, please be mindful of residential driveway access, and PLEASE watch for kids crossing the street!

Tents: You can set up your tents on the green space on the north side of the pool at the end of the parking lot. We do not allow tents in the pool area. From the tent area, there is an entrance that leads straight to the concession stand and heating area near the pool. We will provide trash bags and ask that you remind your swimmers and families to pick up after the meet.

Concessions: There will be plenty of breakfast and lunch fare, including burritos, fruit, burgers, candy, and beverages. Our concessions accepts Venmo or cash.

Schedule:

HVSL Warm-ups: 6:45 a.m.

Hampden Heights Warm-ups: 7:15 a.m.

Scratch meeting: 7:15 a.m.

Stroke Judge meeting: 7:25 a.m.

Timers' meeting: 7:35 a.m.

Heating meeting: 7:45 a.m.

National Anthem: 7:55 a.m.

Start: 8:00 a.m.

Reminder: Warm up will begin at 7:15 a.m. so please try to arrive by 7:00 a.m. to get checked in, settled, and goggle/cap up your swimmer. Look for our purple team tents. When you arrive, please check in with Sadie Levine so we can mark your swimmer present. If you are running late, you can text Sadie at 303-503-1116. If we don't hear from you, your swimmer may be scratched from their events and we don't want that to happen. Also, volunteers need to check in with  to pick up their Volunteer Name Tag with your shift details (volunteer list attached). This is how we track volunteers shifts!

After Warm-up, we need parents' help to "Mark Up" swimmers. We will have printouts of the swimmer lineup (also attached) and sharpie markers to assist with Mark Up. PLEASE REMIND YOUR KIDDO NOT TO WRITE ON THEMSELVES WITH THE SHARPIES, OTHER THAN THEIR MARK-UP GRID (i.e. NO "EAT MY BUBBLES" ON BACKS). Swimmers in events #1-10 will head to the Heating Area at about 7:45 a.m., followed by the National Anthem and the start of the meet at 8:00 a.m. Reminder - NO parents will be allowed in the Heating Area.

Finally, remember that all shifts of stroke judges and timers will need to be present for a pre-meet meeting with the starter so please be ready by 7:30, even if you don't work until later, and listen for announcements.
