Congratulations, Hurricanes!  Our team swam with heart on Saturday. Final Score: HHST 496.5 to PRE 278.5. What an impressive win on a very hot day.  The Preserve Parranas were very complimentary of our team's sportspersonship and the efficiency of our meet. Thank you to all of our coaches, parent volunteers, and a special thank you to Rodney Herring, Matt Klassen, Emily Rivera, and Cesar Rivera for starting, announcing, and managing our meet with expertise.  

Our June 13th meet is a home meet against Forest Park. REMINDER: You must go onto our website to declare your swimmer as participating or not participating in this meet by noon on Wednesday, June 10th. If nothing is entered, it will be assumed that your swimmer is NOT participating and they will not be entered into any events. 

See below for step-by-step directions for meet declarations.

1. Go to the team website - hampdenheights.swimtopia.com, click on the Meet and then "Meet Entry". Click on the yellow "Edit" button and mark each swimmer "Attending" or "Not attending".

2. Once you select "Attending", you will see the events for which your swimmer is eligible. You CAN select up to 3 events.  This is an opportunity to make a request if there is a specific race(s) that you want your swimmer to participate in; however, coaches have the final say in which events each swimmer does. If you do not know or care which races your swimmer should do, you can leave this screen blank, and coaches will select the appropriate events. Don't forget to hit save at the bottom.

3. You will see a dropdown menu about relays. There are relays at the beginning and end of the meet. You have the ability to let coaches know if your swimmer is or is not available for both the early and late relays. Remember - swim meets are long, and those late relays will not happen until at least 11:30-12:30. Please opt out if you cannot commit to staying until the end.

4. Click save. THIS MUST BE COMPLETE BY NOON ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10th. Undeclared swimmers will not be placed into any events for the June 13th meet.
